Shopping in Sotogrande

Holmes Sotogrande

People come to Sotogrande to rest, play golf, socialise, watch the polo, enjoy nature, meet at the glorious beach clubs and bask in the elegance of the most refined resort destination in southern Spain. However, the days when you had to trek to distant cities are long gone, as Sotogrande also offers shopping amenities right on your doorstep.

Marina shopping
The main point of reference for many visiting Sotogrande is its delightfully charming and elegant marina. Here you will find boutiques, cafés, restaurants, tapas bars, antique stores, ship chandlers and also the offices of professional services set within the elegant pastel-toned architecture at the heart of the yacht harbour.

The extension of this area is to be found a few steps away across a charming canal in the newer part of the marina, whose own shops, eateries and meeting points form the backdrop for the stylish Mercado del Levante flea market held during the summer months and enlivened with delicacies to be had from classic food trucks.

Paniagua
The original little commercial centre in Sotogrande, Paniagua has the feel of a quaint Andalusian village in which traditional restaurants, cafés, tapas bars, a newsagent, offices and shops are located. Offering parking and situated just off the main entrance to residential Sotogrande, it is also where Holmes Sotogrande has its main office.

Supercor Centre
Perhaps the most modern of Sotogrande commercial centres is the Supercor centre, this shopping mall is dominated by the Supercor supermarket, which features underground parking and also includes a complex with shops, offices and cafés.

Centro Comercial Mar y Sol
A charming commercial centre with good parking, Mar y Sol is situated on the north-side of Sotogrande just at the turn-off from the coastal A7 motorway. It features a fitness centre, offices, decoration shops, restaurants and cafés, and a chill-out bar popular during the summer evenings.

Surroundings
The surrounding villages offer further alternatives, including nurseries, local fresh produce markets, village shops, restaurants and traditional Spanish cafés, not to mention more supermarkets and professional services. They may replace Sotogrande finesse with Andalusian authenticity, but are also the place to find great value bargains.
