La Reserva de Sotogrande

In previous articles we highlighted different top addresses within what is already a top address in itself – Sotogrande – but the area is also home to exclusive gated communities such as La Reserva de Sotogrande, a spacious country club environment overlooking the lofty fairways of La Reserva Golf Club as they flow gently towards the sea.

Set on over 500 hectares , with plenty of space for untouched green areas in between the residential zones, La Reserva de Sotogrande consists of spacious villas typically around 500m2 to 1000m2 on plots varying between 2,000 and 3,000m2. A gated community, it exudes a country club feel overlooking a combination of nature and the golf course.

A  elevated position, on the inland side of the coastal road, means that La Reserva also enjoys lovely views over Sotogrande’s other residential areas and green zones to the marina and the sea. It is also a perfect position from which to appreciate views of Gibraltar and North Africa, which on clear days and evenings can be truly awe-inspiring.

For those who prefer to design their own dream villa this is one of the areas where plots are still available, and naturally they come with full planning permission and infrastructural provisions.

Besides the elegant clubhouse with its bar, restaurant, gym and panoramic terrace, the immediate area is also home to a beautiful equestrian centre, a rackets club and otherwise just minutes away from shops, golf clubs, restaurants, the international school, the little village of Guadiaro, the social hub of the marina and the beaches of Sotogrande.
